The handover checklist
The building name and checked items are stored using local storage in the browser on the device you use. The checklist code does not send these entries to a server. Browser storage is not a secure document repository; avoid sensitive personal information.
Use “Clear” to reset the checklist. You can also remove the stored information through your browser’s site data settings. Exporting creates an Excel, PDF or CSV file on your device; keep or delete that file using your usual records process.
The contract comparison
Calculations run in the page. The figures are not saved by the tool and are cleared when you reload or leave the page. Choosing a download saves a PDF or Excel copy on your device. Entries are processed in your browser and are not sent to a server.
Visiting the website
The Guide has no analytics or advertising scripts. Fonts and visual assets are served with the website; pages do not load an external font or image service. The Guide does not set advertising or analytics cookies.
The hosting service may record technical information such as your IP address, the page requested, request time and browser details in access and security logs to operate and protect the website. These server logs are separate from the checklist saved in your browser.
Information you enter
There is no contact form, account registration or mailing list on this website. Avoid entering personal or confidential information into the tools. Downloaded templates stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
External links open other websites. Their own privacy practices apply when you visit them.
